What is the Multicultural Youth Network?

The Multicultural Youth Network is a collection of young leaders committed to building a bright future for multiculturalism in Australia.

Members are young people from many different cultural backgrounds who believe that everybody has something positive to contribute to Australian society.

The network currently meets every month to discuss current issues and projects related to multiculturalism and to develop skills for working with the wider community.

What do we do?

  • Provide skills training, leadership, and networking opportunities
  • Identify  and explore cultural issues facing young people in NSW
  • Communicate with the CRC on issues of concern to young people of diverse backgrounds for incorporation into CRC and NSW Government policy
  • Support members in working with local communities to engage young people about issues affecting them
